Hello Chofriends,

Christmas is nearly coming,So,Yaniv should hold a nice theme-party.That was,If the world doesnt end!
Many users have suggested this idea(including me),and Yaniv finally accomplished to host this party!
We are going to start the party on December 21st,at 18:00 (6:00 p.m.),and at 21:00(9:00 p.m.)Cho-time.
Boys,Meet,Yaniv, at the Dudes Chill Zone,and girls,meet Koiz at the Girls Hangout.

Other staff will be popping throughout the party,so keep your eyes open!

The staff are going to have some different kind of magic at the party-color changes,animations
body changes,some musics and maybe even some rains!
After a while, the staff will combine, and will party together, at the Party area!

Game Night!

  After a few weeks,without any game nights,The Chobots Team are going to host a game night,tomorrow!
We are going to play every game in the Chobots world,participate in contest,and win some awesome prizes
like the game controller,some bugs,and maybe a couple of citizenship for a few days.

(So if you want to come to have some fun with us, meet us at the Space Port Square)

12/12/12 Party Reviews

Hello Chofriends,
                           
                              It's a very awesome special day-December/12/2012,also known as 12/12/12.
Did anything special happened to you today?If you didnt do anything special,Well you should know that the next time when you will open your calendar and will see a date like that will be in 100 years.

Anyways, as stated few posts ago, we were having a 12/12/12 party today.
We started the Party at the Park with Zoo, Yaniv, Koiz, Max and Nathan, and then we move to many different locations.You can see the pictures at blog.chobots.net.At the party, we had some very colorful magics, winter animations, a spaceship flight, some cool songs, an array of colors, and some rain. They rained a very special item - the 12-12 glasses!


I hope that everyone had fun tonight. We will be having more parties like these in the future, so be sure to attend!

How was the sweet food fight? I heard that many people participated in it.
Many people threw cakes, candies and popcorn at each other, but only 3 skilled people defeated everyone else.

Congratulations to Pain, Icestormz, and boomman. You 3 did a great job.

Journalists Wanted!

Hello Chobots,

Recently, Zach has been working on a new application form for Chobots who would like to join the journalists program.

The journalists program awards different bloggers that blog about Chobots.
Their sites should contain an eye appealing template, unique posts, and possibly some creative gadgets.
Every journalist will be awarded with a journalist - badge that will be placed in the bottom right corner of your player card, and his/her blog will be added to the blogroll that we have here on the main blog.

The process of becoming a journalist is not so simple; to become a journalist, you will have to follow at least 2 of the following requirements:

•      Your blog shouldn't be "simple" - it should have a great design (a
       template and a header), and some cool gadgets in it.
•      Your posts on the blog should be creative and unique - you have to write
       your own posts, not just copy them from a different source like the
       official blog. Even though, you are free to use the pictures that have
       been used in the posts on the Official Blog.
•      Be active on the in-game community: Be nice to each other, assist users
       who require any kind of assistance and be aware of all the latest news
       and stuff that happen.
•      Be active on our different Community Pages - comment on posts
       that we post here on the official blog, post and comment on the forum,
       tweet and reply to tweets by the official Chobots Twitter page, and
       comment / post stuff on the timeline of the official Chobots Facebook
       page.
•      Update: Your blog should be updated at least twice a week.

As stated above, Zach has been working on a new application form for Chobots who would like to join the journalists team. If you think that you follow at least 2 of the requirements above, you can apply from here:

The applications will be reviewed by community team members as soon as possible. The new journalists will be announced few hours later after the application form will be closed.

Information on Subscriptions

Hi Chobots. I've been noticing quite a few users and parents have asked multiple questions about the new auto-renewal feature for Citizenships, so I'll be glad to answer them.

To begin with, here's the start page (after logging into your citizenship option):

As you see, you have 2 options: Auto-renewing and Manual.

We will begin with the Manual feature. To start, this is the normal way you've paid for Citizenship through the past year.

You do not need a PayPal account to complete this transaction. You can either enter your PayPal email/password and confirm, or press the "Don't have a PayPal account?" button to pay as a guest. This will activate your Citizenship instantly and will bill you onlyonce, and never be billed again, unless you decide to buy another Citizenship later.

Next, lets discuss the Auto-renewing feature. This new option we've released is a bit different than the traditional way of paying for Citizenship. Instead, you'll beautomatically billed each billing cycle (i.e. if you buy a 1 month, you will be billed each month for $4.99, if you buy a 6 month you will be billed every 6 months for $24.99, etc.) and your account will be awarded the appropriate bugs, the length of Citizenship, and most importantly the item of the month! This feature does require a PayPal account, which you can sign up for one on the page.

Once you login to the PayPal system here, you will be prompted to purchase your Citizenship. Once payment is approved, you will be awarded your Citizenship, bugs, and item for this month, and placed on the auto-renewing system. The picture above shows the 12 month, so I'll use it as an example here:

"I just purchased a 12 month auto-renewing Citizenship in December '12. I was billed $44.99 just now, and in 12 months from now I will receive the new item of the month from December '13 and be billed another $44.99, automatically."

The system will automatically bill your PayPal account for the proper amount and give you what you've pre-purchased. You have the option to cancel this auto-renewal process when you login to your PayPal account on their website, http://paypal.com/, and go to "My preapproved payments", where you will be given the option to end this auto-renewal process.

The advantages of the Auto-renewal system plan is you'll have continued service on your Chobot without interruption at any point. Also, if you get the 1 month auto-renewal, you'll get every Citizenship item that will come out each month!

With the Manual system plan, you'll have a disrupted service if you do not purchase another plan within the time between your initial purchase and your expiration date, which can be found by clicking the word "Citizen" on the upper left hand corner of your in game play screen.
